25/01 - Welcome to Wellington

Welcome to Wellington, you may already know that is the capital city. It is often called Windy Wellington because it is the windiest city in New Zealand.

The Mount Victoria provides 360 degree views of Wellington City, so you can see the harbor, the city, the ocean, the airport and sometime the South Island if the weather is good.

20/01 - Muriwai Beach

We went to Muriwai beach, located on the west coast of North Island. This beach is unique because of its black sand and also because of the steep cliffs that are home to the region's only gannet colony.
The beach is also popular for its surf activities.

19/01 - Incredible day

We took the highway go to Mairangi Bay. Suddenly, Pear said to us she just saw a child driving, nobody believed her, so we wanted to be close by the car to check, and we all realized that it was really a little kid (i guess he was about 10 year old or something like that). His mother was sitting next to him and he was driving was a 4x4 car. I wanted to take a picture but too bad I missed the target. Waoooh it is totally incredible!!

At the Mairangi Bay, we were sitting on a bench on the beach eating something. Suddenly Pear's husband said to us he saw a fin in the sea, he first thought it was a shark. But it was some dolphins swimming around, they were not far from the shore. It was the first time I saw dolphins.

Unfortunately I have no picture to prove these two facts, just trust me.

In Auckland city, you can easily found a lot a chinese / japanese / korean restaurants. Unfortunately I did not found the salad with kiwi sauce or the cutlet pork with kimchi and cheese dish. I should return in Korea someday.

14/01 - Meeting in Hong Kong

In this sunny day, I meet Andy at Sha Tin station. At first, he wanted me to taste dim sum in the restaurant he used to go. We ate a lot: har gao, siu mai, char siu bau, ... We paid about 5 euros for 5 dishes, in France we have only one dish for this price, food in Asia is so cheap!!! Then Andy gave me a tour of his university The Chinese University of Hong Kong located on a hill. It has so many buildings, his uni is just too big. At the top of the hill, we had a great view.
We spend our last moment at Tsim Sha Tsui where we have a nice view of the tall buildings, at night all buildings are illuminated, so beautiful. Now it's time to leave Hong Kong for New-Zealand. Eleven hours flight to go there, damn it's too much, I have already flight eleven hours from Paris to Hong Kong.

It was very nice to meet him again after that long time. Next time I will stay more time at Hong Kong.
~~ see you my friend. ~~
